The brief
A Class 2 development comprising 18 two-bedroom and two three-bedroom apartments, each with its own carport, storage shed and bike rack. Communal gardens and a shared BBQ area were also required, alongside two light, contemporary interior schemes and acoustic privacy between residences.
The approach
Close collaboration with the developer was central throughout construction, particularly when navigating fire and acoustic engineering requirements, mechanical ventilation and material selection. Flexibility was essential in finding suitable alternatives where needed, without compromising the intended look or level of detail.
The outcome
A sleek and sophisticated apartment complex completed on time and within budget, combining practical amenities with a clean, contemporary finish. A highly rewarding outcome, Parkview Development went on to win the 2025 HIA Eastern Victoria Regional Housing Awards, Apartment Complex.
